Question:
u r more then welcome to give tips about acne if u have...
Answers:
I'm not too sure about a dermatologist, I'm looking for one too for a different condition, but if you could describe what type of acne you have and what type of skin type you have I could possibly give you a couple of more specific home remedy tips.
Generally, what I do is put a bit of clay masque on developing and apparent spots overnight. Also keeping a skincare regime is helpful for mild acne.
1 Wash with a gentle anti-acne soap.
2 Tone, preferably alcohol and oil free toner.
3 Moisturize, oil free.
Look for products with salicylic acid, glycerin, and tea tree oil.
I would not suggest facial scrubs if you have severe acne. If you have oily skin, you may want to use a clay mask once or twice a week after washing and before toning. Also, a general helpful tip is drink plenty of water.
The key is being consistent with your skin care regime, and it might be up to three months before you see a significant change. (Three whole months! I know . . . )
Also, a lot of my friends swear by Proactive. I'd honestly rather go to a dermatologist before becoming a slave to a product like that.
Well You can call a Dermatologist- they are skin doctors.
I am sure different doctors have different rates. You might try a clinic.
You will just have to call around to get quotes.
Mine costs $76 for an appointment.
Do you have insurance...it should just be a co-pay. But a co-pay for a specialist, so it may be like $50
