Stomach ache?

Question:
i have had this really bad pain in teh lower right side of my stomach for about 2 months i wnet to teh doctors the first time and they said i had a infection and gave me antibiotics but the pain didn't go away. so i went to the doctors again a few days back and they said the infection still hasn't gone away and gave me different atibiotics my stomach doesn't hurts that much but my back on the right side really hurts help since i have started taken those antbiotics

Answers:
If the current antibiotic does not improve your stomach ache, you need to tell the doctor you want a culture taken so that you can get the right antibiotic immediately. Too often they just try this and then that and hope they will find the correct one. A culture will tell them exactly which antibiotic you need. Be persistent. They pay more attention to people who are. You can eat a lot of yogurt but with antibiotics that won't do as much good as usual. First thing, you have to get rid of the infection.
too many meds can cause damage to the liver..they need to do further testing such as blood draws.and find another doctor
I would ask another doctor. If your in that much pain it should not last that long.Really ask another doc and do it asap something is not right with what they are saying or doing.good luck.
Did they ever do an MRI? The only thing that sticks out in my mind is kidney stones perhaps? How did they diagnose the infection? The reason I am presuming kidney stones is because it is mainly lower abdomen on one particular side, but more so because of the back pain...
