I can't sleep! Restless legs.?

Question:
I know why... I ate an entire huge cadbury choc bar with fruit and nuts and I never do that. (I was depressed)... so now it is 4a.m. and if I try to sleep at all I get restless legs I just can't rest. My legs are driving me crazy. Any solutions?

Answers:
Try taking a bath with chamomile bubble bath. It is really soothing and always helps me but the worst thing you can do is watch t.v. or use the computer because the light makes make many people restless and energetic. Try the bath or try reading something. Hopefully you will soon be able to sleep.
You may have a disease called Restless Leg Syndrome. Check in with your family doctor and he should subscribe you with medication.
walk around the house or your room.
dip your feet in warm salty water, read a story book.
Or have a hot water shower.
tell me how you feel.
When your restless at night like that nothing but a sleeping medicine (sleeping pills, drowsy cough syrup, etc.) works for me. You will be up for a while probably, so you might as well try doing something productive if you can. I'm sorry you can't sleep, I hate it when I have nights like that. Hope you don't have to work tomorrow or work early. If you don't, clean or do something until you get tired, or take a tylenol pm. Hope you feel better.
There is a new break threw medication for this exact problem. Consult your doctor and they will fix the problem!
I take Sinemet, that I get a RX from the DR. Generic is inexpensive & I take 1 or 2 at bedtime, depending on how restless my legs are, when i am trying to go to sleep. Quinine is good. ;You can buy Hylands for leg cramps & it works well.
