Downy fabric softener got on my hands?

Question:

i got fabric softener on my hands and i tried to wash them off but they feel weird now, kinda stickyish, and i've tried soap and then i tried just water but nothing's working. Can any1 help? Thanks =D

You're fine. It will come off. Just don't rub it into your eyes. Look on the bottle for instructions if it gets on your skin. I have gotten it on my skin before and I just washed my hands and went about my day. You will be fine, I promise.

Try putting your hands through a complete wash and dry cycle. Use warm water and dry them using the delicate setting on the dryer.

Try rinsing them in vinegar water.

rinse with vinegar - just pour straight from the jug onto your hands. Helps clean softener build up in your washing machine as well.
