I went to the doctor but the doctor said a nerve had been hit and swelling of the tattoo would go away after everything ran it's course... anyone ever had this happen to them?
Answers:
Chances of that happening are slim (in case of proffessionals) and cases when it's happened are rare, but it has happened. In theory, the swelling should die down in a week, at most. If it doesn't, the damage may be greater than initially estimated and you should have it looked at by a specialist (again).
