Lump on ,y hand?
Question:
Answers:
Its more than likely a cyst and a cyst is just closed sac under the skin which is attached to the sheath of a tendon or may be attached to a joint in your hand, it contains fluid similar to joint fluid. You have several options
1. You could do nothing alot of times they can go away on their own. (But can take sometime)
2. Bible treatment which is when you put your hand on a table with the cyst pointing upward and slam a Bible on it; and cyst should pop and then be obsorbed by your body. (Thats what they did back in the day)
3. See your doctor and they could stick a needle in it and drain it and then give you a little shot of cortisone in it to hopefully make it go away.
4. If all of the above does not work then you could have a doctor surgically remove it.
Go have it checked by your docs. Could be a cist. lol
Is it a wart? Sounds horrid, doesn't it. ;] But you never know. Check with your GP and DON'T pick at it.
It could possibly be a ganglion cyst. I had one on my wrist. It had to be surgically removed but it still came back. I would see a doctor about it.
i think that it might be a wart or somthing like that because the same thing happened to my friend and she went to the doctor.
go to the doctors and stop putting pressure on it if it hurts
Might also be a wee calcium deposit, get it checked out!! They just bash the calcium as to the others a simple precedure will remove them!!
Sounds like a ganglion cyst. I've had 2 in my lifetime. One on the outter side of my wrist and the other on the inside of my hand up by the knuckle. Sounds like the same place you have. I had them both surgically removed under a local anesthetic. The doc just makes a slit and punctures it then you get a few stitches then he gives you some pain pills to hold you thru the next few days. Of course its sore at first but the pain isn't all that bad. I don't even see the scar anymore!
I had that problem and had to have it surgically removed, the doctor said that I had hit my hand on something probably a while back, and that was the end result from it.
