Answers:
Heres away but it may change your perspection of life and may cause you to do rash things without second thoughts and you may experiance happiness or in little doses but you must throw out your prespective of life and remember not to get attached to anything that you cant drop in 10 seconds this doesn't mean hate people but love your family and care for your friends but show that if they turn on you that you will have no problem what so ever of disposing of them or dividing them from your life, as for pain remember that its only your nerves telling that you that something happening and that your the boss and there is no such thing as pain but a giant alert from the nerves and if you show the nerves that its no problem they will shut up but that part is all up to you.
dont think negative.just tell yourself that this surguery is gonna make you feel better and that you shouldnt worry.
Just keep a positive mindset. I will even pray for you tonight.
instead of thinking 'its gonna come bk' think 'it WONT come bk.' you have to believe it yourself, and stay positive!
Just remember this... What you think about you bring about, and you will be just fine. Because of the last time, they will be xtra careful this time don't you think?? I know you'll be strong anyways. I will pray for you , too.
Mind set is important, without question and meditation might help you develope the positive mind set that your looking for, of course, as othes have stated, thinking positive, that all will be well is important.

Along with mind set though, you might look to build up your immune system to enhance healing and stop an infection before it starts.

With both a positive mind set and a strong immune system you are sure to get through this surgery with quick recovery.

Good luck to you and may this be your last surgery for a very long time.
