I get this really bright street light contained by my eyes. It upset me and last almost 10 minutes. It be similar to a string?

of bright triangular christmas lights, very bright. It slowly get bigger and went towards the outside of my eye and next eventually disappeared. I was alarmed. It has never happen before and for a minute, I be almost blinded by it. Has this happened to anyone else and what is it? Should I be worried?

Answers:    If it happen again, you should probably go to the doctor. I hold had similar experience and it turned out to be the start of migraines. Some migraine are single in the eyes and don't wreak headaches.

Yes you should be worried. This could be a sign that you're have some neurological episode or that you're having a problem beside your retina or that you're having a migraine.
Please any go to the ER and be see or call your eye doctor (an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist)
