Question:
Answers:
If it is horrible pain (mine was) use hydrogen peroxide.
DO NOT SWALLOW but hold it in your mouth as long as you can near the abscessed gum. Then spit. Rinse and repeat. I did this for an hour and it pulled out the infection.
WARNING. This will really make the skin of your mouth raw. Use caution to only do this until the pain is managable by other means.
Aspirin is a topical pain killer. Crush one and rub it into the area. After using these two treatments maybe you can get some sleep.
Good luck.

If it's a gum infection, you need to see what's causing it.I mean check to see if there is peace of food caught in there and try to remove it in a safe way. That would be with any dental instrument from drug store. Then you can rinse with warm salt water. If it's from the tooth, then you need to see a dentist for treatment above all cycle of antibiotic ks.
Apply a cold pack on the outside, then treat with oil of cloves. If you have cloves hold one on the area
Ibprofrin is for muscle and joint pain, it is an anti-inflammatory.
Use some Peroxide, Don't swallow just let set in mouth for some minutes, This will aide with the germs and any infection that will put out the pain, But going to the dentist will HELP get rid of that problem once and for all.
