What can I do with bulging veins on my feet?

Question:
Their not varicose veins, they just bulge like those on your hands. I don't have them on my hands just on my feet. I'm 17 and I'm not overweight. I bike at least 3 times a week and often do yoga. Why do the veins on my feet bulge?? How can I stop them from bulging?? It doesn't really look nice when I wear flip-flops or anything open so If there's anything I can do, that would be great!

Answers:
I'm afraid there's not much you can do about it...if there was, I wouldn't mess with it. Muscular feet do tend to emphasize the veins, but it's also a sign that you are healthy...so don't give up the physical activity just for a cosmetic issue. Maybe you can invent yoga socks?
All of your veins will start to bulge if you put your arm or leg below the level of your heart. Active people, like those that lift weights, often have visible veins, too. Sit in a chair and prop your foot up above the level of your heart...if the bulge disappears, it's just venous blood working its way back to the heart. They might not look nice but you need them, lol. The veins in my arms and legs both bulge alot, to the point I've gotten comments from friends & co-workers.just our luck.
