Answers:
One knee injury that didn't hurt me so bad was a torn cartilage. It wasn't even apparent, until a later diagnosis. Problem is, the more you wait, the more it tears, which means that much more to remove (it doesn't heal).

Definitely have your knee checked out before too much damage ends up preventing you from continuing the physical activities you love.

If it is this type of injury, you're risking no longer playing any sport demanding a quick pivot of your leg (i.e., baseball, basketball, soccer, etc.).
yes
you might have a busted bursa (a small fluid-filled sac located at where a muscle slides across bone). my grandad had a busted bursa in his elbow... pretty easy if you catch it fast. they just drain all the blood. if it starts to clot, they might have to do surgery, but it is very small because all they do is make an incision and clean it all out. so to make it in simpler words you prolly should go see a doctor.
Definitely, you better go and see a doctor before the condition worsen
