Chest Pain after car crash that is nagging more than a week later? (PLEASE HELP)?

Question:
I had some medium pain after a car crash that was going 25 into a tree. I of course had my seatbelt on, but now I'm experiencing mild chest pain when I'm still, but somewhat severe when I move certain ways. It also hurts worse when I push on the lower ribs. Please help?

I've been taking Tylynol and Ibuprofin switching off... It helps a bit.

Please don't just tell me to goto a doctor either.

Answers:
it sounds like a fractured rib. all you can do is ice it and do the tylenol and ibuprofen if you dont want to go to the doctor. it may hurt for several weeks until it heals.
You could be bruised. You could have a rib fracture or dislocation. It's kinda tough to tell of course but you sound like you are doing what you can without seeking the opinion of a medical professional.
umm you need to go to a doctor quit being such a ***** about it. if you dont get it checked out and its serious well. your not gonna be looking too good
Could be a fractured rib, back injury, or cracked sternum. If you want help go to the Dr. or call him again. Otherwise you will just have to suffer and wonder what the problem is. What if you have injured your heart or bruised it? You have to go get checked whether you like it or not. Could be life threatening.
