Question:
Hi everyone...I have a lump on my knuckle...It is the back side(non palm side) of my middle finger middle joint. I started playing tennis actively a few months back and noticed a pain. Upon lookig i saw this lump. It feels hard rubber like and does not appear to move. It does sometimes hurt if i play with it or hit it by accident but most of the time it does not bother me. It does not appear to have gotten bigger or smaller in the month I have known about it. It appears to be attached to the knuckle. I greatly appreciate any information anyone has on this...
Answers:
it could be a ganglion.they appear near or on the joints ...if its painful ..c ya GP ..a small op will be needed
This could very well just be a calcium deposit in your finger. It won't hurt you any but it may be an inconvenience to you. Not much anyone can do to get rid of it for you either unless they do a minor surgery and remove it. This is just a possible theory for you.. I have friends who have had the same thing happen and that is what it was. But I am not a doctor so you may want to have it checked to be sure. I hope this helps and maybe puts your mind to ease a little.
