Easy open Band-Aid *1984 - Prior*?

Question:
Does anyone remember the easy open Band-Aid's that had a string in the wrapper?

I cut my hands up pretty good and needed a Band-Aid, but could'nt seem to open it, there aren't even pulltabs on the wrappers. How is it that when you're in a panic and bleeding, you cant seem to open the wrapper for the Band-Aid?

What year did Johnson & Johnson, discontinue the string and tabs on the wrappers?

Answers:
There is a band-aid available that is really easy to open. I can't remember the name of it but instead of using a string, you simply pull the wrapper from both ends at the same time. Presto! One band-aid coming up. Check at your local drug store or grocery store. One place that will most likely have them is a medical supply store.

I don't know the answer.
But funny you mention this. The other day, a Friend needed a band aid. All i had was this huge Johnson and Johnson first aid kit. Yeah, cut myself opening the kit. I was just using my hands, no instruments to open it. It's a conspiracy from Johnson and Johnson. They want you to bleed so you have to buy more band aids.
