Question:
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and i was wondering if somebody could explain exactly what is high blood pressure.

Thank you in advance.

Answers:
High blood pressure means that your blood pressure is higher than 140/90. Normal blood pressure is 120/80 or a bit lower such as 120/70, 110/70 or even a bit lower than that. If your blood pressure is over 140/90 then you need treatment.
means you have too much sugar in your body. more than you need. this causes heart problems (heart attack). you have to work out and excersize
Consider your viens and arteries in your body are like plumbing. You blood travels all over your body via these tubes. If these tubes are under pressure, such as you putting your thumb over the tip of a garden hose, then the pressure increases. When you put your thumb over a hose which has water running out of it, you will get the water to spray out harder as you have increased the pressure in the hose. Same thing with your viens and arteries.

Now lets say you have fat build up in your arteries which occlude the flow of blood through your body, your heart responds by pumping harder to get the needed blood to circulate. This increases the pressure. This will also occur from things that cause your vessels to constrict such as cafeene, adrenalin, ect.

Exercise and diet change are the solution.
