Whats a quick fix for heat exhaustion?


Question:
ok, so i'm at a 2 day music festival, yesterday my boyfriend and i stood for about 7 hours, and only had 1 energy drink apiece during that time (it was that or beer, the jackasses wouldn't allow food inside)
anyway, he felt kinda crappy all day today, and we left at 6 to go see some more bands, and he got dizzy and threw up. The EMS guys said it was heat exhaustion and to go lay down until he felt better, so now we're in our hotel room, but if he doesn't get to feeling good enough to go out again in the next hour, he's going to miss a band we love, and he'll never forgive himself.
is there any way he can get to feeling good enough to go watch the band in an hour?

There has to be water available, even beer, anything cold will help you combat the heat. Go jump in a river or a shower or any body of water, spray each other down with the hose. The trick is to stay cool. This may be hard to believe but wearing long pants and a long sleeve shirt will actually keep you cooler than having your skin beat down upon by the sunlight.
hydration & rest! lots of water and juice. you guys did not drink enough during the day and you are likely BOTH dehydrated. you both need to drink a lot. try eating some fruits and veggies too. personally i would not be going out in an hour as he could collapse.
Your both Dehydrated get to the store get each a 32oz GATORADE drink that.Remember this next time.You must keep hydrated.

I suggest that your boyfriend drink lots of water along with Gatorade or Pedialyte.
