Grandma's arm going numb?
Question:
I am concerned for her. Please answer this if you know what is going on. Is it just sore or what. If you are not exactly sure please dont answer.
Answers:
Grandma needs to check this out with a health care provider. If she is a caregiver, she might not be taking really good care of herself.
It could be anything from a pinched nerve from positioning for a long time on the trip, to an inflamed muscle that would respond to some gentle stretches and possibly warm packs.
It is important for her to get a proper diagnosis before she treats it and may overlook something important.
Bless you honey for your love of Gramma.
Hope this helps,
Grandma is lucky to have you.

She may be having a stroke - get her to an emergency room!
How recently was she on the bus? She could have a blood clot in her shoulder, from being to still for too long. It sounds odd but it really does happen.( the best indicator for that would be swelling) She could have also cramped or pinched a nerve in her neck which could cause numb or tingling feelings. Aleve would be better for her to take rather than ibuprofen if she can take it.
Don't mess around when its grandma :=), even if you have put on the good granddaughter pouty face it wouldn't hurt her to be seen by a doctor if she isn't feeling better in the morning. Or at least by Monday.
