Okay. I run track, but sadly in a freak hand-off accident I broke my shoulder. Should I run Indoor?

Question:
In a co-ed relay in Maryland about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I broke my shoulder and my wrist. My shoulder had to have surgery done and my wrist is almost fully healed. Some of my coaches say running indoor might be dangerous. Should I risk having shoulder problem for the rest of my track career, or is everyone blowing this way out of porportion. Indoor doesn't even start till Nov. I should be 100% healed by then.

Answers:
What does the doctor say? That is who counts, not a coach. You can injure your shoulder walking across the room. Whether you will have problems for the rest of your life depends on many things, not just running indoors. If the doctor gives you clearance to run, then run.
,take a break from running
i'd wait till ur all the way better. dont push it too much or u could end up permanently damaging it. take it easy!
