My hands and feet gets numb?
Question:
When I cross my legs sitting, after a while, it gets tingly and numb.
What could this mean?
I am at my 20s. I go to the gym 4 times a week. No disease or family history of diabetes or heart disorder. But I have blood pressure of 90/60. Do I have a very weak circulation. What should I do?
Answers:
sounds like your body parts are falling asleep...this will happen if in a position too long that interfears with blood circulation. just change positions. dont sleep on your arms.
It does sound like low blood pressure or poor circulation. Have you discussed this with your doctor? are you at a healthy weight? do you take vitamins, have proper nutrition, eat enough protein, and drink plenty of water?
How are your sleeping habits? Do you sleep in the same position all night? what kind of bed do you have? Do you make it a point to shift your sitting position frequently and keep good posture?
Have you been checked for diabetes even though there is no family history of it.My brother has diabetes, but no one else has it in the family. His arms and hands are numb and heavy when he wakes in the morning too. Also you should'nt cross your legs while sitting for any length of time,i think that has something to do with circulation. But honestly, you should see your doctor and be checked for diabetes soon as possible.
eat more fiber and iron, try sleeping in different positions maybe the position your currently sleeping in this cutting off a blood vessel. get softer sheets, weird but it might work, also try to sleep indifferent tempuratures may help, it worked for me, try switch up these factors to get the best results for you. good luck :)
Hello
My hands get numb all the time but mostly at night when i am sleeping. I have carpal tunnel syndrome which can cause that,,,good luck
Sometimes it is just the way you sleep that causes arms and hands to go numb...
stop picking up fat women and having them fall asleep on you.
Sounds like poor circulation (low blood pressure) and/or pinched nerves. Don't cross your legs. Doing so cuts off the circulation to them.
