Answers:
Wash your skin every morning and every night with a gel cleanser. Don't use creamy cleansers as they will block the pores.
At night after washing your face, use rubbing alcohole such as Isocole. Acne is an infection under the skin and rubbing alocohole will help kill that infection. Then to moisturise so your skin doesn't dry out use a NON greasy lotion. Beleive me this does work for me. I know you said alcohole doesn't work, but try this and one of the keys to beating acne is having clean skin.
omg, i have the same problem. i use clean & clear but it only works for 3 days, then it stops for a few weeks. then clear skin for 2 or 3 days..

have you ever gone to a dermatologist?
maybe that would help
put toothpaste on the head of the pimple it makes it dry out. :) good luck.put the toothpaste on right before you go to sleep so it has enough time to dry it out. then if you like pop it.
If the common over-the-counter remedies are not working for you, your skin probably needs something a little stronger. Most of the homemade remedies are not going to be any more effective than what you've already tried. What you didn't mention is how often you wash your face? You should be doing it several times a day and might want to try using a little lemon juice in your rinse. Toothpaste and /or Preparation H can help with minor pimples, but it sounds like you have a much more extreme issue.

Realistically though, you probably need to consult a dermatologist. Often antibiotics (topical and oral) will make a big difference, as will some other prescription topical treatments that you can only get from a doctor. Good luck, I know it is really frustrating when your skin is breaking out!
Go to your doctor and talk with him/her about your concerns. My daughter had acne, and her doctor prescribed a cream that had active antibiotics in it. This cleared her face up within a week of using it. It is expensive, but if you have insurance, you will just have to make the co-pay. As far as homemade, I am not sure. I have heard that applying toothpaste, the plain old fashioned variety, like old school colgate, can help. Some people swear by applying honey to the pimples, as honey has antibiotic properties. Using a pure soap, like Ivory or Dove, may help. My son swears by Clean and Clear. If your hair is long and touches your face, make sure that you keep it scupulously clean. The oils on you hair can cause breakouts. Good luck and hope this helps.
