How do I walk in a walking boot?

Question:
I broke and sprained my ankle 5 weeks ago and just switched from a cast to a walking boot. The doctor barely gave me any information about how to handle the boot. Is there a special way to walk?

Answers:
Try to walk as normal as possible with your foot as straight as possible and try not to limp. When does your physiotherapy start?
The question is: are these boots made for walking?
just take your time until you are comfortable with it, in the near fucture never leave a doctor office with out asking his/her nurse for full information if you have questions then ask...
Tread softly and carry a big stick.
