Splinter Like Pains in Right Arm, but no splinter?

Question:
I have a pain that feels like a splinter pain (sharp) but there is NO splinter. It's on the back of my arm, the only thing I found was a paper cut-like gap, but im not sure this is where the pain is... It will come up if I move my arm in some ways. Does anyone know what this is? '_'

Answers:
Sounds as if you may have torn a muscle or a tendon.
