best have it seen too..you could have lasting brain damage aswell
classic concussion symptoms i would!
might aswell, no harm in it right?
Yup, its not an illusion. Bush did manage to hold onto the Presidency.
Going to the doctor isn't going to fix that.
Unfortunately, the medical tests for concusion aren't a lot more than what your school nurse is likely to already have done. You can have somebody with 10+ years of medical experience tell you to "follow my finger" or someone getting with far less schooling and a lot more on-the-job experience.
If you feel no funky after effects at this late juncture and there are no other apparent symptoms, all a doctor is going to do is ask you how you are feeling.
So ... how are you feeling?
If you're feeling like you felt before, with perhaps the exception of a bump ... then you probably don't have a concussion and if you feel other symptoms ... well, you should call the doctor.
Otherwise ... well ... don't do that!
Yes, it is worth getting checked out.
YES! Never feel like you "can wait til tomorrow" or "I don't need to bother, I feel fine now."
I'm not trying to scare you, but in my career as a Paramedic, I have responded to calls where the patient didn't call us, and didn't want to go, but upon being convinced, discovered at the ER that they had a bleed in their brain, from a fall of less than 5 feet.
You could have any number of issues that can take up to 24 hours or more to take full effect, and the effect can be death overnight.
IF nothing else, go to your regular doctor if you're not comfortable with the E. R., but I recommend immediate action if at all possible.
get it checked - btw if you blacked out how do you know it was three seconds? Just curious
