Question:
for the last few weeks i been suffering with my back and can hardly walk let alone get up my stairs to my flat,i am a council tenant will tehy help me if i tell them the problem/?im having to stay in my home and its not fair

Answers:
If its only a temporary condition, there's little help. If its long term and/or part of a serious condition you can ask to be re-housed in more appropriate housing. Depending on your council rules you may need a letter from your doctor. The doctor normally does not charge for such a letter.
what is a council tenant?

In some states the landlord can get a grant to give you a ramp
they do have a lift you can get for your home that will get you up and down the stairs.
