My grandmother is fit and healthy for her 72 years of age. She slipped and fell on an unsafe step at a hotel and we are thinking of putting in an injury claim. Will the fact that she's 72 effect the claim?

none! age shouldn't have any kind of effect on filling any kind injury claim. Injury is an injury so fill the claim against the hotel. If the hotel stairs where unsafe to used when she fell, then it the hotel fault for not getting the stairs repair.
