What does it take to become a home health nurse?

Question:

Answers:
Are you talking nurse or nurses assistant? 2-4years of school to get a degree for a nurse. If you want to be an aid in the home health feild most places require at least one years experience as a nursing assistant or a 6 week colledge course, depending on where you live. Some nursing homes will train you thru their program at the end of which you get certified and they usually want you to stay employed with them atleast 6 mounths, which is still not enough experiance to get in the home health feild.Good luck finding a job in home health period since our federal goverment cut back on medicade spending that is one of the hardest hit,and forces people to enter a nursing home which in turn cost alot more.Who can figure.Good luck at any rate a formerCNA and home health aid.
