Giant open sore at the back of throat flap?

Question:
Ive been getting sore throats pretty often, this time and can see a giant sore at the back flap of the throat, the side rounded flaps that are in line with the hanging bell thing.

Its like a giant cold sore looking thing, and it hurts like crazy to run water or food by it, and I do the best I can to swallow to the left to avoid it...Ive been sucking on Ricola drops all week...this is just awful, and i dont understand..

Some days I dont drink enough water, but the same goes for all the people that drink soda and coffee all day, no real water there, and theyre likely dehydrated, i only drink water but sometimes maybe not enough...Id like to believe there might be a different explanation..

I have only had one sexual partner for the past 5 years, and have only kissed 3 people in my life (including him)

Is this herpes or something?

There is a picture i illustrated to show everyone where it is...

thanks

Answers:
All cold sores are a type of herpes, but nothing to be concerned about. You probably need to see a doctor about this, if it is causing you discomfort. It shouldn't be anything serious.
You should see your doctor for this, its not from being dehydrated.
You are going to die a slow painfull death unless you go see a doctor right away.
see your Dr.
