Does bruises heal by itself or do we need to put ice on it to heal fast?

Bruising is caused by bleeding under the skin. If you apply ice and cool the area when first injured it will help to stem the bleeding and therefore the bruising will be less and will dissipate more quickly.
Left alone they will still heal once the underlying bleeding has stopped.
They heal on their own. Ice won't speed it up.
Bruises are formed when blood is released into surrounding tissue(s) as a result from some kind of trauma to an area on our body. Healing a bruise is simply a matter of getting rid of this blood stained tissue. Usually, the body will reabsorb the blood and eliminate it as waste. For healing bruises, Arnica Cream is the best as it brings the bruise out and helps it heal quicker. You can get it at any health food shop.
