Im tired all the time?

Question:
what could this be or is it just cause i go to bed late

Answers:
Well it could be a few things:
* It could be lack of sleep or lack of deep sleep. We all need REM sleep and to be able to feel rested the next day we have to achieve at least one cycle or REM sleep.
* It could be an unbalanced diet slowing your metabolism and making you feel sluggish
* It could be a thyroid problem- it controls metabolism as well and when it begins to malfunction can make you gain weight and feel tired
* If occurs with any other symptoms like fever, sore throat, chills, hot sweats, etc. it could be a case of Mononucleosis..or Mono whichever you want to call it. In the begining stages most experience extreme fatigue
* If you are trying to get pregnant you may have suceeded! Pregnant women in their first trimester are EXTREMELY lethargic and can be so tired they have to take naps during the day.

It could be several things. Are you eating nutritious foods, getting plenty of exercise and rest? If so, are you depressed (clinically)? If you are eating right, exercising, getting plenty of rest but are still feeling tired all the time you need to see your doctor.
Get plenty of sleep, eat healthy meals and exercise regularly, also if you are very stressed that can make you tired as well.
Go to bed earlier and see if that helps.
You should have your thyroid level checked. This can be done through a simple blood sample at your doctor's office/lab.

If your thyroid level is too low, you would definitely be tired all the time. Check with your doctor.

If you have a regular bed time, you sleep well, and are averaging approx. 8 hours of sleep each night, then a late bed time shouldn't matter too much.

The problem may be that you are getting up too late and missing out on daylight hours, which can make you tired.

Have your thyroid level checked. If it isn't that, go to bed earlier and rise earlier. If that's not an option for you, maybe you could continue to go to bed late but get up earlier, then take a 30 minute nap during the daytime.

Good luck!
Have you been checked out by your doctor for vitamin B12?
This can cause fatigue. Going to bed late, not getting REM can really cause fatigue. Not eating properly every day can cause fatique, as well. Being upset or depressed can really tire you out. Being bored can tire you out. Check out your life style, and your Vitamin B12. Drink lots of water, as well.it keeps my mood up.
it could be for a miriad of reasons. this is not the time to rely on armchair doctors on line - i had the same problem and i thought it was because i was working long hours and under immense pressure and stress in both my personal & professional lives. it turned out i was dangerously anemic due to probems created by a condition that i didn't even know i had. please consult wiht your physician immediately - it could make a big difference in your ability to maintain your health for the rest of your life.
You seem to have a sleep disorder which doctors call Sleep Apnea.
Over two million people suffer from sleep apnea
This is a condition in which a person has difficulty in sleeping and breathing simultaneously.
The result is a disturbed, fitful sleep as the parson is constantly reawakened when the lack of oxygen becomes so much so to trigger a waking response.
People with sleep apnea wake as many as 500 times through night while they’re not aware that they had wakened.
Such disturbed sleep results in "complain of fatigue the next day."
Sudden infant death syndrome a mysterious killer in which healthy infants die at sleep.
