Red spot on eyeball from injury- do I need to see a doctor?

Question:
My daughter was playing on the ground and rolled over on a toy. It scratched the outside of her eye and I just noticed that it must have gotten the inside of her eye. There is a red spot about the size of a pencil eraser. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I need to know if I need to take her into a doctor or if it will go away on it's own.

Answers:
As long as her vision is not effected, you should be fine not taking her. If the spot gets bigger take her in.
Take her now as she probably scratched her eye. But he size of the scratch is pencil sized and that is worrisome.

You could wait of course but the what could happen are endless. Better safe than sorry.
I'd take her anyway. it could be nothing I'd check.
