Answers:
I would also recommend trying to get your mom's attention better. If the red line is not a scratch then it could be a big deal. Keep track of how long that line is. Every day check to see if it gets longer. And if it does get longer make sure you know in which direction it is going. If it starts to go toward your neck you need to see a doctor ASAP (ask him about lymphangitis). If you have to, use a permanent marker and draw little lines or dots at the beginning and end of the line each day to mark its growth.

But, if you hit your head, it's probably just a scratch
maybe you just hit your head and dont remember...probably nothing to worry about
Please my dear friend go to a doc... we reallly neeed you for long... atleast in yahooo answers.! (just kidding) better to consult a doc ASAP ... no worry,...! its nothing horrible..! but do take care of yourself..!
It is possible that you hit your head and the red line is only a scratch, but it may also be a bite from an insect as well. Make your mother look at it so she can decide. Good luck
