West Nile or Normal mesquito bite?

Question:
I have been panicking because last night while I was sleeping in my bed, a mosquito flew through a crack in my window and bit me four times. Once in the hand, once in the arm and twice in the neck. I had a headache last night after it bit me. But all day I haven't had a headache, but now I have a headache. Could it be stress, bad posture or a mosquito bite. I also have minor stiffness in my neck. Please help. I am not the one to complain, or go to the doctor, but could I have west nile virus. I am a little worried because of the headaches. Thanks alot. By the way, the mosquito had a 'buzz' sound, but wasn't a bee. Is it normal to have a headache after being bit by a mosquito?

Answers:
The headache could be caused by anything. More than likely it's from you worrying about West Nile Virus. You would feel like major crap if you had it. You'd have the worst headache of your life, a fever, and body aches. If you experience any of these symptoms then you need to see a doctor. Only a blood test ccan determine if it's WNV.
Mosquitos tend to have buzz sounds when flying past your ear. A head ache is not enough to say you have west nile virus. you probably have the headache from some other cause (panicing)
