So does my husband, he does remodeling. Last weekend was the first weekend he did absolutely nothing, and come Monday he complained how tired he was, his body just felt worn down, no motivation or energy.
someone told him that the worst thing he could do is to take a day off and do nothing, when you rest, your body wants more rest, then when you return to work your body just doesn't want to keep going-
Pacing yourself by taking breaks, and on weekends don't just sit around the entire weekend, rest some, then maybe get up, go out and mow the grass, take a walk.
My father retired in Dec. Doc told him because he is used to moving around, alot of walking at his job etc.. when he retired NOT to sit around, he will get more tired, and end up with health problems and go downhill fast.
When dad does lay on the couch most of even one day,he feels like crap, feels tired and achey the next day. Of course he keeps doing this and keeps complaining but you cannot tell a bullhead pollack anything- they won't listen.
Good luck and just pace yourself as best as you can
Maybe a weekend just isn't enough time for your body to recover. Try taking vacations.
