What is the best thing to use on a sunburn?

Question:

i went to the beach on sat. and i put sunscreen on but it didnt seem to work (might be no good) now i am so burnt i cant hardly move. what can i use besides aloe i have been using it but it dont seem to be doing anything to help me out.

Last week I had the same problem...at Walmart they have ALOE with Lidocaine...
its a big green bottle.
also Solarcaine is great...also take some Ibuprofen for the pain...
if you can stand the smell...Vinegar also helps...I don't know why it does, but it works...

You can try using a burn cream, such as silvadene creme, which you can not get without a prescription. Unfortunately, sunburn has to heal on its own. Some people recommend taking a tepid bath mixed with vinegar, because it will take the sting out of the burn, but I can not confirm this.
