Does soap under bed help leg cramps?

Question:

Answers:
A year ago I would have been as skeptical as alot of your other answers are. However, my mother in law was just desperate for sleep due to leg cramps at night. It was suggested to us by a lady at the hair salon to try a bar of Ivory Soap under the bed sheet, and as we were desperate we tried it. IT WORKS !!
She also still takes other precautions such as exercise and stretching before bed and she eats extra potassium as in bananas and such, but the soap was the icing on the cake!!
like literally putting soap under you bed? a bar of soap? no. that will not help. you need to get in a hot tub and drink MORE water. leg cramps can be the result of many things but dehydration is a leading cause. putting soap under the bed might however ward off parasites...not sure on that one...
I can't imagine how it would help. That sounds like an old wives tale to me.
Yes. Ivory soap under your bottom sheet (at the foot of the bed) does help with leg and foot cramps. You do have to change the bar periodically. It helps me. I have a friend who has restless leg syndrome who says it helps with that as well.
Potato under the bed helps...
