I had something like that back in Junior High. Luckily for me, my Dad was a Doctor. He numbed it with a local anesthesia and removed it. Put in two stitches and in a week or two I was back to normal. I think he referred to it as a cyst or maybe a wen.

It was easy to get stuff like that taken care of back in 50's. Nowadays I am sure they will make a bigger deal out of it.

Better have a regular doctor look at it.
I think that you should go to the doctor and tell him that you cant wear tennis shoes and that it wakes you up. They will definately help!
my friend had the same thing on her leg and eventually it grew huge it was a tumor she died back in 2003. it could be a tumor or a bone spur to. do not let it get worse please. go to the doctor now.
