My husband is killing me....every night he snores and snores and I can't get any sleep. What can he do?

He may not have sleep apnea. Both my husband and I snore and both of us have been tested. Sinus issues can be a cause. Doctors will also tell you that weight is an issue and a weight loss will make a big difference. You need to sleep, though. We take turns sleeping in another room. You can always cuddle during non-sleeping hours.
Ear plugs and white noise machines...
he probably has sleep apnea. my husband has it. he can go to the doctor and get referred to a sleep specialist. he can then get a "cpap" machine that has a mask or a nose attachment that forces air into his breathing passages as he sleeps. it completely stops snoring and will help your husband to be more well rested. most insurances will pay for much of the cost of the machine.
He probably has sleep apnea, a common condition that can be dangerous. Have him go to a sleep specialist and see what they can do.
Use earplugs.the kind that feel like foam. You squish it in your hand, and it will expand in your ear.
I've read once to tie a tennisball on his neck, so that he can't sleep on his back (most snoring is done when people are sleeping on their backs).
If that doesn't help you can either smother him or sleep in another room
Ask him to try breath-right strips. They help keep nasal passages open. Also, try to get him to sleep on his side or stomach. A last resort is to contact your doctor to see if he has sleep apnea. Good luck and sweet dreams.
have him see a dr. about it. if it bothers you that much. my husband snores too but there was a time when i didn't have him with me and i missed it so much i couldn't sleep either.
It's very simple., he most change the direction of his body while sleeping. I mean to say he should be sleep on R/Side of his shoulder not in the strate direction.
The advise you have already received about "sleep apnea: is sound and an appointment with a sleep specialist may be in order.
I would try one thing first and that is to have your husbands nasal passages looked at by a doctor. It may be he has whats called "a deviated septum" which simply means his nasal passage on one or both sides are not straight (deviated).
If this is the case, a simple (but somewhat unpleasant) surgical prodecure may be necessary.
Good luck
he needs to go to a sleep specialist. he has sleep apnea thats why hes snoring because his airway is not 100% clear to get the oxygen he needs to breath right and well in his sleep. thats what makes the snoring noise is the shortage of oxygen. it can get worse or he can one day stop breathing and forget to breath again and die. please tell him this and he needs to care enough about hismself and his life to go see a doctor
It sounds like your husband has sleep apnea. He can have a sleep test done and then get a cpap machine that he wears on his face at night and you wont hear a thing.
Tatjana. My sister has that name and it is spelled just like that! Okay anyway, I would get ear plugs if he refuses so much to go to the doctor. You could look it up onlineand find some other cures too!
Only thing left to do is buy earplugs. Get the ones from Lowe's that you squeeze to insert & then they expand to fill in. You can still hear but not as well & might help you get some rest.
