Question:
Answers:
It could be growing pains. Its normal to have some pain around that age. I am not saying that everyone gets these pains or that's what you have. You could go check it up with a doctor. But it will probably go away within a week if not sooner. If its persistent or comes back later you may want to go see a doctor or if theres other symptoms you may want to see a doctor sooner.

Get yourself x-rayed and let me know the reports.
In the mean time, do some neck exercises and you should be fine.
1. Tilt your head forwards and backwards very slowly but deliberately.
2. Tilt your head towards your shoulders either side one at a time very slowly.
3. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, taking care that you rotate it fully in all the possible directions.
4. Place your left palm on your left cheek with your arms straight perpendicular to your body. Apply full pressure on your cheek. Apply pressure of your cheek on your palm. You should be able to feel the pressure of each other on each other.
Repeat with your right palm and right cheek.
Do these exercises 5 times initially as soon as you get up in the morning and before going to bed at night.
You may have to close your eyes while doing rotational exercises as many feel giddy.
These exercises are very harmless and help in strengthening the neck muscles and improving the mobility of your cervical area.
