What is wrong with my foot?
Question:
Answers:
it sounds either like a mortons neuroma, a march fracture, or a stress fracture.
a neuroma is a lump of nerves, which after standing or walking long periods can get trapped between your metatarsals, the pain is usually felt as a sharp pain, relived by rest, usually between the third and fourth metatarsals
stress fracture follows a trauma, or stepping of a higher than normal kerb, jumping off something.
a march fracture occurs after walking or standning an abnormal period of time - soldiers used to get them, hence the term "march"
check the underside of you foot for a corn.
plantar fasciitis is usually felt in the heel area, so it may not be that, this is relieved by rest, and comes on again when you step out of bed, as a sharp pain.
there are many other things it could be but these are the top few imo
you need to really look at the shoes you are wearing while working.
no court style, or slip on sandal with no back.
get a good pair of almost flat lace ups or tennis shoes, or a sport sandal.
need a xray to say but sounds like a couple of the bones are close if not touching and causeing you pain,, invest in some good hiking boots and try those,
well if you stand on your feet a lot your feet get soar.i would suggest comfortable shoes
perhaps you are not used to having to stand all day and if the floor is cement it is very hard on your feet. The best thing to do is get a small piece of carpet to stand on to take some of the pressure off your feet. It work's.
you should go to doctor it sounds to me like you have planterfeseitis.
