Question:
I was just wondering if anyone has cracked their tailbone before and if you now how long it take to heal! I was at a party and i fell and slept really hard! and since then my tail bone has being in pain! the doctor told me that it should be gone in a few weeks but it still here!He said their was no point why i should get it x-rayed becasue it is cracked! so please anyone that has had a similar problem please contact me ASAP

I broke my tailbone roller skating. You should get a "donut" to sit on. It's a round foam pillow with a hole in the middle. They sell them at pharmacies and medical supply stores.
There is not a lot they can do for a tailbone injury. It heals on its own in time. I felt better after a few weeks but It took several months before i didn't feel any pain/discomfort at all. Even a year later after sitting for long periods of time i still felt it a little. But you can rest pretty asured that it will heal completely eventurally.
