What is the best way to make a mosquito bite stop itching?

Question:
I have 2 and they really itch. Not scratching them is crap. What should I do?

Answers:
Do NOT squeeze your mosquito bites. EVER. Nor should you pee on them. Use some insect repellent next time you go out. You're lucky you only have 2. I have 7 right now. Anyways, back to what works. Band-Aid Brand has a Calamine spray lotion. It's in a green and white can and is available at most drug stores. You could also get the generic calamine lotion (works just as well, but the spray can be easier to apply). I would apply every 3 hours, or when you feel the need to itch. Try your hardest not to itch because once you break your skin, you can get an infection (just like with any open wound). They are pesky little buggers, and will get the best of all of us during the summertime. Good luck and I hope this helps.

P.S. You can check on www.weather.com for mosquito "forecasts" for the day/week
you could try calamine lotion or any anit-itch cream that you can buy from your local grocery/drug store...
if u go to the drug store they give u a lotion thingy and it helps ALOT!
Calamine Lotion, you get it at drug stores. Best way to stop them from itching next time is if you squeeze them till a clear liquid comes out. But you have to do this pretty much as soon as you get bitten, or it wont work.
i put hand sanitizer on it, I swear by it! :], it makes it stop itching and from being red (no one will notice it unless you point it out!) : P
Here are a couple of things you could try:
Rubbing Alcohol
anti itch cream
baking soda/ water (make a paste)
oatmeal bath (add oatmeal to the bath water)
All of the above can be placed right on the bites
also taking Benidril will also help with the itching

Hope one of these will work
Hand sanitizer or asorbine jr. It works for me.
to the first guy:okay no, peeing on it is for jellyfish stings..so i hope u didnt pee on urself lmao,...ne wayssssss calamine lotion is really good to like cool it off so u wont feel it nd the anti itch stuff works too. Hope it helps!
Lick it if you can, otherwise spit somewhere and wipe that on it. I know it sounds horribly nasty, but it works.

Keep it clean otherwise. Dirty bites itch far worse than clean ones.
Menthol will stop the itch and reduce the swelling.
West Nile disease is very active this year, so please research the signs and symptoms and use DEET spray to keep from getting bit.
Apply some Coconut oil on the affected areas.
You could also try applying Aloe vera.
It is a good antiseptic as well as helps prevent itching.
Scratching too much can result in affected areas getting dry & your skin may peel n bleed too.

Apply some lemon juice if nothing else is available
