I have a spot on my back that goes numb?

Question: ive had it for a few years now. It is on the right side of my spine on my mid to upper back. At first the spot would go numb, usually when i was on my feet for a while. Then when i got pregnant the same spot hurt really bad, constantly with no relief. And after the pregnancy, now the spot either goes numb or hurts occasionally. I have no other numbness or pain anywhere else. Any idea what it could be?
