Is it normal for your nose to bleed when you get upset?

Question:
Today, my mom and I got into a fight, and I got really upset. I went to take a shower to cool off and be by myself (we have a full house), and my nose just started bleeding like crazy. It was just nonstop for at least 5 minutes. I don't normally get nose bleeds, and the only time it was ever that bad was when I got elbowed in the face playing soccer 6 years ago. So I was just wondering if my nose bleed was associated with me getting upset, or if it was just some coincidence. (Not sure if you need to know or not to answer this question, but I'm 15)

Answers:
Yes, actually, it is possible to suffer an anxiety nosebleed in your nose. This occurs when you are under a lot of stress and your body tempature goes up, and your heart pumps faster causing the small veins in your sinuses to tear open and can cause nosebleeding. This is normal and there is nothing to worry about.

By the way, I hope things go well with you and your mom.
It is possible that stress could have made your body less able to repair itself which led to a tear which led to a nosebleed. Unless your mom punched you in this fight, however, I think they are just coincidences.
U have to check your blood pressure.. maybe there is a connection between the bleeding and the stress...
That happens with my father.. he gets upset and his blood pressure goes to the sky... so.. his nose bleeds!
