How can I stay regular without using prescription drugs?

Answers:    You entail to be eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Protein and cellulose are a good starting place, but you hold to ensure that you are getting a full and balanced diet.

Having said that, everybody is different and for some, hole your bowels every 2-3 days is normal. I of course would not go down the road of using enema's unless you are constipated (and by that i miserable hard, mortified stools that are hard to pass). A more easy-going way of softening your stool is to run senna (not sure what this is marketed as surrounded by the US but here it comes under the given name Senokot), another over the counter remedy is Sodium Docusate, which as well as softening stool will increase gut motility and stimulate the bowel.

Also be aware that other medication can cause constipation - anti sickness drugs resembling metoclopramide and granisetron, and any opioid painkillers for example codeine, tramadol and morphine.

The impact on your health and strength could be due to your diet (if you are not eating plenty fruit and veg). If this really is bothering you (and especially if you are experiencing any other symptoms such as blood or mucus in your stool or any torment when you move your bowels) you should see your doctor for further advice.
