How to avoid swollen eyes in the morning?

Question:
Lately, I get up and my eyes are swollen and baggy and it takes a few hours in the morning for them to get into their real size. Is it lack of sleep, tiredness? I drink plenty of water during the day but i still don't know the cause for this annoying occurance. Any ideas?

Answers:
Lack of sleep can definitely doit to you! Or if you have cried the night before. Try getting to bed earlier and see how that does you. When all else fails, try some Hermerroid creme like Preperation H. It actually works lol
Over New YEars, my beloved dog escaped from the fence while I went to church and got ran over. I was so heart broken! I cried and cried. Later that evening I went to my BF's families house I had been crying already so my eyes were puffy. My parents were out of town so I was invited to sleep on the couch in y BF's living room. I cried more after everyone going to bed. The next morning my whole face hurt so bad. I finally went and looked in the mirror- I scared myself lol All that morning I had been talking to his mother and learning how to make home made tortillas and my face looked like the Pilsbury Dough Boy! Being the good BF that he is, he told me I was beautiful and it made my day brighter. . .
Don't know why I told that story but thought someone would like to know lol
Quit drinking.
that happens to me when i don't get alot of sleep. its horrible waking up and seeing my eyes all swollen. i bought one of those masks to wear over your eyes, you can get them at bath and body works. i refigerate it the night before and place it on my eyes for 10 min. it has helped the swelling goes down quicker.
I think you need to get a full nights sleep...and yes - like the person above said - if you do drink that may be a factor
