I hit my head about 5 times a day ago and I'm worried ~ help?

Question:
Ok, I don't need a lecture but it started out as innocent fun with my boyfriend and his friend having a few drinks when I guess I mixed a strong drink from hell and now I'm paying for it. I don't remember what happened but apparently I smashed my head and body into everything and I have constant head pain (not terrible, just unpleasent) as well as several lumps. How would I determin if I have caused something more serious then just a bit of surface swelling and accompaning pain?

On a side not I have this bruise on my hard with a cut in it that is swelled into a massive lump. It's itchy and sore could it be infected already or just part of the healing process?

Just go see a doctor to find out/
the doctor is the only one who can answer this question.
Just go see a doctor.
an X Ray of your head would be required to see if there was any permanent damage done, so get yourself to the ER.
If it's been five days, and your head still hurts, go see a dr.! You need to make sure that it's not something more serious. You should have gone to the dr. the day after it happened, you could have gotten concussion or something! Have him/her check you over just to be safe...hope you learned you lesson...I know I have in the past.
What you fear is head injury.Signs of head injury are:nausea/vomiting,giddiness,... pulse rate and high blood pressure etc.If you did not have any of these, most probably you don't have a head injury. So,there is no need to worry.About your hand,well,sweeling,redness,loc... warmth, pain and loss of function are the basic five signs of inflammation. So,you are only having these signs which are a part of the healing process. If you develop fever, consult a doctor.
I think you should go get it checked out by the doctor then he/she will tell you what medicines to take and stuff. Otherwise for your head pains if they're like headaches use tiger balm and wrap your head with a scarf,my dad uses it and it really works instead of taking an aspirin.
An x-ray would help to see if there is any damage, however, you need to see a doctor for this. Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, dilated pupils can be signs of something serious. The head is more resilient than you think but if the headaches continue please see a doctor. Icing the area would have helped with the swelling. Ibuprophen will help with the inflamation.
