What's wrong with my mouth?

Question:
this doesn't happen offten but it's been happenning more recently my jaw makes a weird clicking sound when i bite down on food what could be causing this sound and how can i keep it from hapening

Answers:
It could be TMJ syndrome, I have the same problem though I have never been really diagnosed I am sure that's what it is. I told my dental hygienist I thought I had it and she said I definitely could but didn't do anything, so I don't know what to do about it. Some days its not noticeable, some days its freakin' annoying. I would check with your actual dentist to be positive.
It's just a popping jaw. It may get worse if you chew ice. I dont think there is anything you can do, but doublecheck with the dentist.
you probably just popped it out of place biting down on something hard - it will go down after a while, but if it persists, i'd talk to a doctor about it.
