Have you stuttered before?
Question:

Yes, and I've done another form of that. Like Lor, I sometimes, but not often have the problem where my brain keeps throwing my mouth more things to say, and it ends up turning into a train wreck of words.. so many things I keep thinking to say but they all try coming out at the same time. I could be in the middle of a sentence, something like "I went to the mall and saw a.." and BAM it will hit, and I'll stutter a few words, and then I'll have problems choosing the right words to use because so many are trying to come out at the same time! I've tried slowing down, stopping and thinking of what I want to say, and it doesn't work. I usually end up cutting my sentences short and after a minute it clears up.
I'm embarrased by that, but thankfully it doesn't happen to me often. So far, its only happened when I am around my family. My mother doesn't seem to notice, or if she does she is really nice about it. When my sisters are around and it happens, they look away from me like they are embarrased.
sure a few times since i speak another language though i was born here. they pretty much said excuse me or ignored it and understood
i used to stutter when i was in second and third grade. people mad fun of me a lot.
Only when I am tired and it really isn't stuttering but "stuppering".
People laugh !!
i don't have a stuttering affliction, but i often have a problem where my brain seems to outrun my mouth; sometimes i just keep thinking of things to say faster than my mouth can say em, and i end up stuttering and mushing words together and babbling random gibberish.
it can be kinda embarassing, but i just stop, laugh it off to put myself at ease, take a deeeeeep breath, THINK about what i want to say, then slowly and calmly just say what i am trying to say. my friends seem to not notice; if they do, they only laugh when i laugh first, and i know they aren't deriding me, just trying to make me feel more at ease.
hope that helped.
Only when I'm nervous or talking to someone I don't know well :)~
yes, i do stutter once in a while. And yes, people have made fun of me a lot. But its nothing that a little speech therapy can not remedy or at least better.
Only when I was really nervous...
And I got some odd looks cuz, I usually don't do that!!
I must of been too stoned! LoL
Yes, I do when I get really, really tired. Normally, the people don't mind (except me dad) because they are my family, and my mom is tongue tied, so... =]
I used to, but I only stuttered because I thought to quickly for my mouth to respond. I managed to stop stuttering after awhile. I guess I just learned to think slower!
No I'm just kidding, I actually thought out my words better so that I knew what I'm saying before I start.
yeah.when I talk to some one I don't know
they responded normal
