I used to work with fiberglass...you can use a pair of pantyhose and rub them over your affected skin and it will help remove the fiberglass
I used to work for an alarm company while going to school and would have to crawl around in people's attics. The only thing that helped me was to use cold water and soap. It usually helped with the itchy burning sensation you speak of.
