Right lower side pain/burning & throbbing?
Question:
I have been rly sick the last 2 months and have gone for testings/been on pills and w/e else u can imagine and nothing is working. Well, just early this morning (3:00am) I woke up w/ an extreme right side pain. (NOTHING to do with the prior sickness-unless its just showing up?) Its coming from behind the last 2-4 ribs near my side and into my back. I can't lay on my left side b.c. the right side (where the pain is) starts to throb. It hurts laying on my back as well. I did take some medicine for it, but it doesn't seem to be touching it. Yes, I know I should go to the docs. but I have been there (literally) 8 times in 7 weeks and they still can't figure out my throat problem. First they thought it was an infection, then allergies, and now they believe it could be acid reflux but I have to go to a specialist for it and I may not get in for another 2 weeks. Please help me out w/ any ideas, I honestly dont want to go to the docs. again. :o(

It sounds to me like you have cholecystitis. Your gallbladder!
Stay away from greasy, fatty and spicey foods. If you start to have yellowing of the skin or the white of your eyes turn a shade of yellow or start running a fever then you need to go to the ER. Otherwise, watch what you eat take your pain meds as directed and go see the specialist (what kind?) you said the pain is behind the last 2-4 ribs on your right side to me you are describing your right upper quadrant of your abdomen and not your right lower quadrant (near your groin). your appendix is in your right lower quadrant of your abdomen ( near your right groin) and your gallblader is in your right upper quadrant just behind your last 2 ribs on the right side of your body. sometimes the pain will suddenly get worse 30min to a couple hours after eating. so, stay away from greasy fatty and spicey foods.
Watch the film Alien, all your answers are there
sound like you have a bad kidney infection and you would be wise to get it checked out very soon
could be ovaries, sounds like the pain i had, very hard to get a proper diagnosis, ask for a scan, that should show up any cysts or swelling.
appendicitis appears as pain in the lower right area of your stomach. It could also be kidney infection. either way its best to see your doctor.
could be a kidney stone
